WOW Gold – Why are you not using the Auction House?
First of all let me say that if you do not have a thousand gold in WOW you just aren’t trying or you don’t know how. Making money in WOW is easy. You are about to be told our method of how to do this. It is probably nothing new.
Do you have an auction toon? This is a toon that just sits in town near the auction, bank and mailbox. If not create one or use one of your toons you currently are not playing.
You are loosing thousands of gold if you are not auctioning off your stuff. The easiest way is to have a dedicated toon that your other toons send stuff to. This way you always have access to an auction house. Do all of your selling and most of your buying through this character. This will keep your inventories open so that you can collect more valuable items as you quest or raid.
Now to make money with things your auction toon does on its own you can get vendor items and sell them on the auctions.
But why would somebody pay us and not come get it themselves? Convenience and ignorance. They either don’t know where to get it or they don’t want to come get it. Either way it is gold in your pocket.
The biggest mistake I see is people selling stuff to cheap. I don’t care if the vendor only charged you 38 copper for the item, people are willing to pay 15 gold for it at the auction house. You would think that this would only apply to rare hard to get items, but it doesn’t. They pay through the nose for items available in most major cities. Don’t ask why, just take the money. Don’t try to be Wal-mart, you are the 7-Eleven of the WOW world and that convenience is going to cost someone their gold.
So what type of items are you looking for? The hot items are recipes, formulas, etc for any profession, limited items (include herbs, cloth, mining supplies, enchanting supplies etc), items available from a limited number of vendors and pets.
